Sunday, September 27 th - Buddy and Peggi Baumbach will be leading the September cruise.
Meeting at 7:45am at 10928 Cross Creek Blvd, Tampa, 33647 (Publix parking lot on the corner
of Morris Bridge & Cross Creek ) to leave promptly at 8:00am. We will drive approximately 1
hour 20 minutes to Yalaha Bakery for breakfast / brunch. At 11:20am we will leave Yalaha for a
30 minute drive to Mount Dora where we will take a 2-hour Rusty Anchor narrated Mt Dora Canal
Tour aboard a pontoon boat leaving the dock at 12:30pm. The special group cost for the boat
tour is $33.00 per person and must be paid in advance by credit card by Monday 9/21. To
purchase your ticket, call (352)383-3933, mention that you are with Tampa Bay Vettes for the
9/27, 12:30pm Tour. You are welcome to bring drinks / cooler and snacks on the boat. All the
little shops that Mount Dora is famous for are open on Sundays, so feel free to wander around
town after the tour. Parking will be at the 1st United Methodist Church back parking lot (439 E 5th Ave,
Mt Dora, FL 32757). A shuttle will take us the 6 blocks or so to the tour boat location.
