Jim Browne Patriot Chevrolet to Host Car Show & Apple Pie Baking Contest

The public is encouraged to come out and enjoy an afternoon of classic vehicles and summer refreshment when Jim Browne Patriot Chevrolet holds its first Car Show and Apple Pie Baking Contest from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 30, 2012.

Located mid-way between Dade City and Zephyrhills at 10741 US Highway 301, festivities will include a live DJ, a face painting booth and a variety of concessions, including hot dogs, sausages, snow cones, popcorn and cotton candy.

Volunteers from area VFW and Eagles organizations will be on hand to offer their support, with all proceeds benefitting the Lacoochee Boys and Girls Club.

The car show is open to golden oldies and modern beauties alike and the baking contest to all area amateur chefs. Zephyrhills and Port Richey City Attorney Joseph Poblick, Zephyrhills Mayor Steve Van Gorden and Pasco County Property Appraiser Mike Wells will serve as the lucky judges.

Registration and admission are free and prizes will be awarded. For more information, contact service manager Jim Martin at (352) 567-1222.
